GRANTS ACCOUNTING ANALYST
Acclaimed NYC nonprofit organization is searching for several accounting professionals to join their growing team
DUTIES SUMMARY:
-Responsible for accurate billing to granting agencies
-Update general ledger with corresponding entries
-Assist with the preparation and submittal of relevant reports to government agencies
-Assist with month end and year end closing process
-Compile grant information in preparation for scheduled audits
-Collaborate on projects with Program Directors and the Controller
REQUIREMENTS:
-2 plus years of relevant accounting / finance experience in a nonprofit organization
-Bachelor’s degree
-Strong Accounting Software skills, Financial Edge preferred
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
