- PAYROLL MANAGER
Leading NYC nonprofit organization is looking for a strong payroll professional to join their corporate accounting team
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manage the review and processing of the company’s semi-monthly payroll for approximately 500 employees.
-Assist line managers with payroll functions inclusive of processing of new hire payroll set-up, changes to employee records, leaves of absence and terminations, and guidance with policies and procedures.
-Generate new and maintain confidential employee records in the Paycom payroll system.
-Manage the processing of all employee W-2 forms and vendor 1099 forms and the related reporting required for each.
-Develop and produce payroll reports as needed.
-Monitors activities for and ensures compliance with laws, government regulations, industry requirements and company policies.
-Assist Controller and HR department with special projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
-5 plus years of experience managing the payroll process for an employee population of 400 or more
-Proficiency using online payroll processing systems, Paycom experience a plus
-Excellent communication skills with a customer service oriented demeanor
-Advanced MS Office skills
-Bachelor’s degree preferred
