- DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING - PLANNED GIVING
Acclaimed New York City Nonprofit is looking for an experienced planned giving professional to lead the research and cultivation of new donors and manage the existing donor relationships
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
-Research, solicit, and cultivate donors for planned gifts
-Manage and grow a portfolio of existing donors
-Create and foster donor relationships by meeting legacy donors and planned gift prospects
-Design and implement marketing campaigns to target planned giving
-Create, plan, and execute donor events and seminars
-Meet and work with Campaign Managers, the Prospect Research Team, and the Executive Director of Development to achieve organizational fundraising goals
REQUIREMENTS
-5 + years of leadership experience in fundraising and donor development
-Bachelor’s degree
-Solid experience with the principles, practices, and ethics of fundraising
-Demonstrated ability to close financial agreements with donors
-Exceptional communication, presentation, and management skills
