- FINANCIAL ANALYST
Acclaimed downtown New York City Nonprofit is looking for an experienced financial analyst to join their Accounting & Finance Team
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
-Collaborate on the buildout of the annual budget
-Monitor the flow of cash and assist with the preparation of cash flow projections
-Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reporting
-Assist in tracking performance against budgets
-Assist in creating and updating financial reports for presentations to senior leadership and the board
-Assist with special projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
-2 + years of experience as a financial analyst – preferably in the nonprofit sector
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
-Advanced Excel skills a must
-Experience with Sage software a plus
-Strong analytical and communication skills
