- DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Our client, a top New York City-based nonprofit organization, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the h/r personnel across its multiple satellite offices
DUTIES SUMMARY:
-Provide guidance and direction to field h/r generalists across multiple worksites in the New York region
-Responsible for organizing, implementing, and directing the human resource function and performance
-Ensure that all federal, state and local laws and regulations are up to date and properly applied
-Manage appropriate h/r staffing levels by recruiting, developing and motivating field h/r generalists
-Collaborate with the corporate office management team, supporting departments, satellite office personnel, and vendors to provide best in class support to all New York region employees
REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources management experience overseeing a large H/R team in support of a population of over 5,000 plus employees
-Superb knowledge of all applicable Federal, New York State, and New York City laws and regulations
-Excellent leadership skills managing a diverse population
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
-H/R and payroll systems savviness
-Bachelor’s degree in H/R or related field
