Prestigious NYC Hospital is looking for experienced surgical coordinators for several departments in their midtown Manhattan location
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and serve as point of contact for follow ups
-Responsible for maintaining and improving the clinical and administrative workflow
-Assisting patients with authorizations, questions with deductibles and coinsurance, and out of pocket costs
-Perform other related administrative duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
-3 plus years of experience scheduling surgical procedures both inpatient and outpatient
in a hospital or large fast-paced healthcare practice
-College degree preferred
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Detail oriented with strong multitasking skills
-Customer focused with a friendly attitude
-Knowledge of Epic systems a plus
