- MEDICAL SCRIBE – PREMIER NYC HOSPITAL
Prestigious NYC Hospital is looking for (2) experienced medical scribes for their midtown Manhattan location
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide support to doctors and physician assistants by documenting patient medical history
-Creating and updating patient electronic profiles as needed
-Assist patients with follow-up of any diagnostic testing and specialist follow-up
-Assist with the electronic ordering of prescriptions
-Assist with other related duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
-1 plus years of medical scribe experience working in a hospital or large fast-paced healthcare practice
-Strong knowledge of medical terminology
-Experience using electronic medical records system. Epic preferred
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Superb attention to detail
