- SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
A fast-growing logistics company located in Port Reading, NJ is looking to add a new team member to support the accounting manager.
DUTIES SUMMARY:
· Analyze data from different systems and manipulate to create reports using Excel
· maintaining accounts receivable, communicate with customers to request payment; collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system
· maintaining accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt, and gathering appropriate signatures and approvals
· Record deposits, enter bills, print checks
· Updating financial records via accounting software
· Process and reconcile company credit card statement on a monthly basis
· Maintain account reconciliations, and prepare journal entries
· Gathering payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line
· Assist with the preparation of financial statements
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
· 5 years of progressive and relevant accounting experience
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
· Advanced Excel Skills (PivotTables, VLookup), and familiarity with QuickBooks
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
