- ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Leading Gourmet-Foods Importer located in Long Island City, NY, is growing and looking to add a high energy team-player to support their Sales team.
DUTIES SUMMARY:
-Provide general administrative support duties including: answering calls, taking messages, answering correspondence, scanning, filing, etc.
- Accurately enter sales data into the system to generate reports
-Assist in processing sales order documentation
-Conduct research for new accounts
-Act as a liaison between sales operations and warehouse staff to resolve order discrepancies
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 plus years of relevant administrative support experience, preferably with an importer / exporter
-Bachelor’s degree a plus
-Excellent organizational skills, including exemplary attention to detail and accuracy
-Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written
-A strong customer service-oriented attitude and personality
-Computer savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office, and database programs
