Our client, a global supply chain management organization, is looking for a strong, Sr. Accountant to join their Finance Department.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Cash Management function
Assist Controller with the month-end and year-end closings.
Support the annual financial process of external audit teams.
Generate profit and loss statements.
Assist with the development of budgets and forecasts.
File monthly sales tax returns as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting a must, Master's preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive accountant experience within a large corporate setting.
A combination of public and private industry a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel (must know how to use formulas, charts, pivot tables).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
