Prestigious NYC Hospital is looking for an experienced phlebotomist to join their midtown Manhattan location
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Entering prescription data and verifying matching patient information in the computer system
-Performing blood draws using butterfly and or straight needles
-Properly printing and labeling specimen tubes
-Collecting and storing specimens following all established hospital procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
-2 plus years of venipuncture experience working in a hospital or fast paced laboratory setting
-High School Diploma a must
-Active Phlebotomy Certification
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Customer focused friendly attitude
-Knowledge of Epic systems a plus
