- Warehouse Supervisor
Fast-growing logistics company located in Port Reading, NJ is looking to add a high-energy team player to lead their dayshift warehouse operations team.
Summary of duties:
-Overseeing a staff of 12 responsible for the accurate and timely flow of ocean freight in / out of a 48- dock door facility
-Ensure all safety practices and procedures are followed
-Verifying the accuracy of shipments going in and out
-Act as a liaison between warehouse staff, outbound trucks, office logistics team, and management to guarantee on-time delivery.
-Training of new warehouse staff
Requirements:
- 5 plus years of freight warehousing and logistics experience in a fast paced / high volume environment
-3 plus year of management experience supervising 5 plus employees
-Excellent leadership skills with a team player attitude
-Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written
-A commitment to accuracy and timeliness
-Warehouse software systems savvy
-Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
