- INSTITUTIONAL GIVING OFFICER
DUTIES SUMMARY:
-Manage a portfolio of existing corporate donors and monitor lapsed relationships for renewal opportunities
-Identify and cultivate relationships with new prospective institutional donors
-Write compelling grant proposals and manage donor communications
-Work closely with program and administrative staff to meet shared institutional giving objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years or more of nonprofit institutional and government fundraising experience
-Proven track record in charitable foundation solicitation with solid prospect management skills
-Outstanding verbal communication skills capable of effectively reaching different audiences
-Demonstrated ability in writing compelling grant proposals (writing samples required)
-Computer savvy and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
