STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Top NYC restaurant chain is looking for a strong staff accountant to join their finance team
DUTIES SUMMARY:
· Manage reconciliation of bank accounts and petty cash
· Process and reconcile credit card accounts
· Monitor daily cash balances
· Updating general ledger via accounting software
· Maintain the Trial Balance
· Oversee accounts payable
· Oversee payroll (ADP)
· Maintain accounts receivable
· Monitor budget variances
· Assist outside accountants with quarter-end and year-end closings
· Prepare accounting reports as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree in Accounting or Finance
· 4 plus years of accounting experience within the restaurant industry
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
· Advanced Excel Skills
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Bilingual Spanish a plus
