- FUNDRAISING MANAGER – MAJOR GIFTS
DUTIES SUMMARY:
-Manage a large portfolio of existing major donors ($1,000 - $9,999) and monitor lapsed relationships for renewal and upgrade opportunities through personal outreach, events, and mass communication
-Identify and cultivate relationships with new prospective donors
-Oversee several fundraising events throughout the year
-Write and manage compelling donor communications
-Track and project donor activity in portfolio
-Work closely with campaign managers and other development staff to meet shared fundraising objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
-3 years or more of nonprofit fundraising experience with a focus on major gifts
-Bachelor’s degree
-Proven track record in charitable solicitation with solid prospect management skills
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills capable of effectively reaching different audiences
-Demonstrated ability in managing projects from inception to completion
-Excellent organizational skills with superb attention to detail
-Computer savvy and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, Raiser’s Edge a plus
