Prestigious New York City based Nonprofit Organization is searching for a great H/R professional to join their Bronx, New York satellite office
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Advise and assist hiring managers with accurate processing of employee payroll, compensation, benefits, leaves, terminations, Worker’s Compensation, employee relations, and guidance on corporate policies and procedures
-Conduct onboarding and new hire orientations
-Liaison between employees, hiring managers, and the Director of Human Resources
-Generate new and maintain confidential employee records for assigned population
-Develop and produce reports as needed
-Support Director with special projects and rollout of HR communications
REQUIREMENTS:
-2 plus years of relevant H/R experience supporting a population of union and non-union employees
-Bachelor’s degree in H/R or related field
-Excellent prioritization and organizational skills with a customer-oriented focus
-Superb written and verbal communication skills
-Payroll processing knowledge preferred
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office
